ACCC – Nil. TPG – Unlimited.

Well Well
Seems the facts are pretty thin in this case.

But here’s the proof

The Federal Court of Australia today refused to grant the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission’s application for an interlocutory injunction against TPG’s advertisements for its award-winning Unlimited ADSL2+ and home phone bundle.

In concluding his judgment, His Honour Mr Justice Ryan said “I do not regard the ACCC’s case for final relief on the present state of the evidence, as a strong one”.

“TPG is pleased with the outcome”, said Mr Craig Levy, General Manager Sales and Marketing. “Thousands of consumers are today enjoying TPG’s great value
internet and phone services. We will continue to fairly bring these and other services to the attention of consumers into the future.”
